Hi Guys,

Sorry for the recent down time, it was beyond my control.

Unfortunately the server that we are hosted on was hacked. The hackers were able to exploit this to inject a base64 code into one of our php files which meant new visitors were being diverted to dodgy sites when they visited.

The hosting company have fixed the vulnerability and stripped out the dodgy code.

The good news is that user files were NOT accessed at all. The database remains secure and all details held in it.

As a precaution I've changed the database password and updated the phpBB software to the latest version but that should hopefully be an end to the problem.

Sorry again for the disappearance of the site but I was advised to take it down immediately until the problem was fixed.

To everyone who reads this, Si (da boss) and Ben (1nkling) puts in MASSES of time keeping SS running. Unpaid, and typically unthanked, I would like to say a big fat public Thanks to them both.

Me too, I even joined South Wales Suzuki to get my forum fix(haven't posted yet though). :)
As Munkee says, Ben and Si really do put in the time behind the scenes, and Ben is often still in the chat room when I get home from work at silly o'clock in the morning. Thanks guys!!! :ymhug:

That says more about my bad sleeping habits than the amount of work I'm doing..

Coincidentally you'll also find I'm seldom in the chatroom before about 11am..
