Photobucket changes?

Post by ubermeister » Wed Jul 19, 2017 8:15 am

Do I need to do something different now to host pics on Photobucket? I read something about changes, but it doesn't seem to say anything when I go on the site, and my avatar isn't showing, just says I need to uograde my account.

???

Photobucket has royally screwed almost every forum, worldwide.

They have changed their policy on third party website hosting, meaning that you can no longer link to photobucket account via forums, or ebay etc.

If you want the ability to link to PB, you now need to pay $500 a year. No joke.

Whilst there's lots of talk about which service people are going to use going forward, there's pretty much nothing anyone can do to restore the thousands (millions?) of ruined threads, builds, how-tos and resources.

Genuinely Fecking Awful.

I wondered why noones pictures were loading. Glad I've never used it. Always uploaded straight to the forum.
