Definatly sounds like the exhaust bearing.

Sounds like a vitara on big tyres to me?

I wish my vit did 154miles to a tank im only getting 120miles to a tank of fuel driving carefully but thats what you get from fitting big tyres

hi air filters clean...what size tyres is big i think they look fairly standard,there on original rims i will have a look now,could it be oxygen sensor egr valve anything like that?

154 miles on a full tank (42L) is about 17MPG. Considering you still have fuel in the tank and the age of the vehicle, is 20MPG-ish (Maybe more?) really that bad?

so would i be silly in thinking i should b getin 28-32 mpg mayb little more on a good run?
