yeah its a 2.9 diesel merc engine loads of grunt..

the set up is front torsion bars. so a easy lift just nead to find
out what springs i can use to lift it a little on the rear, its quite high now
running on 31 in tyres None std so for what i want 2 inch will be
plenty, think the shocks should be OK on a 2'' lift

If it were me I'd be looking for Isuzu stuff, maybe there hare hicap springs availiable, measure the coil thickness, uncompressed spring height and amount of coils, is ir torsion bars on the front, I hear you may be able to rotate the bars to alter ride height....???? did they do an trooper based pickup?

EDIT here.....

http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic ... adjustment

You could be onto something good here, there must be plenty of rear spring options in the scrappys.

:D

have to say fair play lee.... nice buy... dont listen to anti-korandos. ;)

dont touch the torsion bars and leave the rear springs standard, rather leave the running gear as it is, and bodylift it 2" or so, put it on bigger tires???

why? as a t-bar anorak, imho when you lift a t-bar'd 4x4 at the front the front ends up with no articulation (or next to none) as the wishbone bumpstops are ever closer to the chassis bumpstops. not good for articulation. so by instead bodylifting it yoour leaving the articulation as standard ans still have room foor the rubbber. ;) you could source some suitablle rear shocks and improve the rear articulation... just my two pennneth... if anyone disagrees... all good :)

what size tires you gonna run???

ezz.
