Did you get out Franc? I never got around to replacing the driveshaft on mine so ended up just going to work instead. I could do with one more day in the week.

Pinzgauer.... Will get you anywhere. Just remember to widen the trackwidth. They are kind of affectionately known for a symptom called "the pinzgauer lay"
Only offroad "truck" i know of that has been tested and built to withstand rolling down a steep hill though.

Seconded!!! I saw some of them at the Adventure Overland show, and they looks awesome.
You'd be my hero if you had a Pinzgauer.

If you cant get there in a pinz, you wont get there at all, they say....

i think they look absolutely terrible. But they more than make up for it in capability and bomb-proof design.

ive been wanting to buy one for ages... even went to a few auctions in austria looking at getting one at "the source".

I actually damn near bought an engineers pinz 3 years ago in germany, complete with hydraulic winch and crane and complete workbench and stuff.. untill someone else bid just a little more than i did.

Should've bought one 10 years ago when i had the chance. Nowa days they are getting expensive.
Oh well....

Lets just say its on the wishlist.

Dennis the pinz ,yes Id love one however my budget wont stretch to one ^:)^ , Ive looked at izusu trooper 3.1 swb (bombproof ), Pajero swb 2.5/ or 2.8 but Ive since learned that they suffer from fuel pump problems , so I need to look at that futher . nissan patrol swb 9 Bombproof) but finding one thats cheap and in good nick is impossible
land curiser swb 70 series : ( but funds may not allow ) :ymdaydream:

Rob Ive got a second viewing on my house on Sunday so thats out for me , give me a shout for the crimbo outing , Ive been wanting to do Strata Florida for a while ?? could that be a possible ??? OIl go anywhere mind ,
Ant Il keep you posted
