Punch Event
I have always fancied hosting a punch event , yet have no experience of the layout ,
I am sure I have enough sections to do so , but a recent post by Simon jogged my memory that he mentioned he had all the gear except the site ,
Sooooo, a reply either way Si be good , November looking like a slot .
Yes or No , both in my vocabulary .
Sooner discuss here than my post in differs if thats ok . JP.

Wow that was quick , thanks Si , first of all I know I can work with you on this project , I have located plenty of places , but you would have final siting of the punches ,
Yes a preview is fine , I am busy as always but finding a date should not prove too difficult if its only for a couple of hours ,
What numbers Simon?
JP .
Oh why does this forum keep ;logging me out before I can complete a post?
one reason I left last time , ??? J

Its not the forum, more like something to do with how your browser is set up to handle cookies..Trakona wrote: Oh why does this forum keep ;logging me out before I can complete a post?

Try clicking the tick box when you log in that says 'remember me' or 'log me on automatically each visit'..
That or spend less time composing your posts..

Just had to log back in !!........... so its stupid me !!! thought it might , I can just about open a computer up and type 1 finger so it prob times out ,
thanks for the info ,
I just saw the Brosley pics looks good , dont expect a simillar site !! , but a day out is a day out ,
I will get into gear on this one , as I recon it will suit most even if a bit tame .
I hate folk breaking trux and not enjoying a day , so first one may be too easy , thats down to who lays out the course , one thing I realy want is just ! impossible punch , and I recon I can do that !!
Lets see what Simon thinks , I will get Andy 4x4 along too , not a propper day without his banter !!. JP.

I think Si could do justice to what you have John, like you say If people are driving to yours they dont want to break there trucks, not to bad if trailered there.
Always a great day at yours dont

My buggy had dumper styled tyres
But is only 2wd

But is only 2wd
I now expect nothing but a clean slate from you then!! , Will you be wanting a blast found the buggy grass track?? [ silly question] .
I have decided it will be more than just a punch event , a bit of off road trekking can be sorted , a bonfire would be good but, cant promice one yet .

Andy , if your reading this thread , I have some plastic pannels for you , hope they will do the job , not the original type , but should come in usefull for you . JP.

Just been out looking at a suitable site for the punch event , seems like 2 choices ,
1, a single long but difficult event .
#
or,
#
2, two easier ones , one in woodland , one in undulating terrain.
the latter choice could be morning / afternoon?
thoughts from previous participants please.
...............................................................................................................
Andy , thet are softish plastic easy to work with , will need painting as have ads on . will try to get you some more .

1nkling .......... thanks for the tip on posting , cheers .

Your da boss , so whatever you think at the viewing day , are you ok if its just an SS members only , suits me this way , everyone knows the dance , and should run smoother , how many punches you got?? i know of over 1oo locations here !, so it would never be the same if another was planned [ may not be a sucsess ] anyway 1 or 20 enter it will be a different place for most .Da Boss wrote:JP
