Wheel Spacers

Post by nacho001 » Mon Dec 04, 2017 2:01 pm

Hi all

I am hopping to get some thoughts and opinions on wheel spacers.

They are potentially to be fitted to a SWB Grand vitara.
I wanted to bring the wheels out about 10mm, partly to address the tyres touching the chassis, and partly to bring them out a little for the look.

I can find 5mm spacers, whih slide between the wheel and the hub, and can find 30mm hubcentric spacers.
I kinda get that 30mm might be the minimum so as to fit all the re-bolting bits inside the spacer.

Does anybody run with 30mm spaced out wheels?
What are they like handling wise? any quirks?
anyone had one break?
just general thoughts really....

Cheers

LWB GV steels.

Hubcentric is a pointless expense, Vits, GVs, SJs etc are all Lugcentric.
