Cheers Dave. Let's hope it work as well as it looks.
Off to Wales at the end of this month, so will get the chance to see.

Hi All..
Time for a small update.
So I have covered around 200miles in the truck, and all is well, I have had no issues with parts, coming loose or not behaving.
The Black raptor shocks seem to provide a firm ride on the road, very controlled feeling.
Not covered any rough stuff as yet, but will report back when I do.

Now... on to some truck related MODs...
Decided that it needed a conopy over the back to make full use of the built in kitchen drawer system. Sostraight from ebay I used a solar shade sail, meant to go over patios and the like. it is very rugged and comes with very heavy duty D-rings in the corners. This thing seems designed to be able to crank it down tight...! in mean ratchet strap tight!.
I sewed an edge over so as to be able to insert a fiberglass pole, this forms the open end of the canopy. The other is taken over the back of the car and attached via bungee to the wheels.

Not too bad I thought. I might try and run a spine pole along the top to stop water collecting.

On to the interior...
Decided that the ebay special Tablet holder, held on using a large sucker on the windscreen, had fallen off far to many times. So removed the sucker part and replaced it with a more permanent solution.

I think that should do the job.

Finally... a shot of the interior of the car, showing the storage solution implemented...

On other notes:
The jerry can holder has been delayed by the water jet cutter, due to Christmas work load. hopefully soon...

I have installed and LED strip in the rear cargo compartment, above the kitchen drawers, this has the ability to have its colour changed. This will allow for a red light to keep night vision, yellow light to stop bugs being attracted or a plain old white light. Its wired to come on when the rear door is opened.

A spare AT tyre has been ordered to serve a the spare. This does mean I will need to re-paint the spare as I have with the wheels on the car, gloss black. Cant have it not matching :)

The chinesse ebay stereo with hands free, mp3, sd card slot... etc. etc... that cost £18.....? stopped working. :( o well, not entirely un-expected. nice little pioneer unit installed in its place £60 new! from halfords...!

A new roof is also in the future, as the current one is very hard, and I daren't open it in the cold weather for fear of it cracking.

Our Wales trip is in a few weeks, so all this will get put to the test in anger.
