Can anyone remember

Does anyone remember the model of Mercedes that you use the springs from to do a 3 inch lift. I've had them one before but can't remember the model to get new ones.

What are you trying to lift?

For a 2door 1992 Vitara, I got mine from euro spares for a 1998 c180.
They worked fine, I believe I cut some off one end to get the best fit.
Don't think it gave 3" of lift tho, more like 2".

If its a Vitara you are after lifting, the best way might be to find a set of Grand Vitara springs and put some spacers on top.

If its a Grand Vitara you are trying to lift, then Merc springs may not work as well, as I believe the GV springs are around 1.5" longer than Vitara springs to start with.

It's the old vitara. I got the merc springs as I was told you can use them to replace calmini springs when their knackered. But you have to cut 1 coil off them. Which I did and it worked great. But I went to replace them with some 3 inch springs and they were terrible, it sat lower And like sided. So I'm to put the merc ones back on but thought i would get new ones. But can't remember the model. It was something like 180E but unsure.

The anonymity of forums makes me laugh. You know the truck Matt, white Vitara? Hits river crossings too fast?
