I have been working till late so not had a chance to get much done ... but I wanted a snorkel but I could not justify spending 250 + postage on one and being a plumber .. NO WAY was I making one out of rainwater pipe.. I see that all day I don't want to see it on my truck aswell..
after a little googling I took the risk of fitting a 97 Toyota hilux v6 snorkel £98 posted and 5 pounds for some flexi hose..

she had a clean aswell...

and a new sticker..

well I got her into the garage this weekend stuck the calmini arms on and gave her a body lift ..
now I have a list of problems to contend with ...
track rods are too short
gear sticks need modifying
needs bigger springs or spacers.. my math was not on form this weekend..
a few tight spots from the bodylift..
steering linkage needs modifying .. the rubber vibration damper was hitting the turbo ..
we removed this and welded a straight bar in but it is so close to the turbo .. we need to rethink it ..
and I need to source a front wishbone bolt as mine was seized in the rubber bush so had to cut it out ..
I also fitted my warn FWH but the shafts do not pull through the hub enough to allow the circlip to be put back on..

If they're the same as a Vitara then Dave at Bits4Vits carries them. Front ones here, and rear ones here

Truck is looking good, look forward to seeing it lifted. I'm seriously considering getting rid of my commercial for a long wheelbase gv.
