Re: these any good??????????????????
Sorry to back track, but A frames. Overpriced, i'd say. My one cost £30, maybe less to make. Yes, i agree they are close to the law and you can't reverse with them. But they do a job  http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/russy196/Green%20SJ%20Van/Red%20One/DSCF1340.jpg Works well for ...

Re: f a o simon and anyone who's owned a leafed heavy weight...

I think most would say extended shackles don't matter too much on the back, but your springs will suffer. Don't forget the bump stop exte...

Re: PULLEYS
The extra wire is used to exite the coils in some alt's
Think its the yellow/something wire that does the dash light.
Just connect them one at a time to 12v with the ignition on, see which one turns the light off.
You know it makes sence with the pulley

Re: winch bumper

Bolts through the 4 holes, with re-enforcement and billets and around the chassis tube. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/russy196/DSCF1263.jpg I have pulled out alsorts with it, no movement in the mountings at all. The bumper has been off the front now three times, ...

Look ok Andy as you say. However have a close look at the near side shackle. Missus bent the axle before that mud hole. She hit a tree stump bless er! http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/russy196/Green%20SJ%20Van/DSCF1348.jpg Bit of an SJ addict as you can see. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums...

Far end steam crossing is fun, as long as you like repair bills  The site is getting more and more established, ...
