It should not be an MOT failure, there is nothing in the book.

It IS in the construction and use regulations, and as has been said could result in points if the police pull you for it.

Nice work!

I didn't cover mine, and I intend to do a tank lift. If you do have problems with your departure angle, might be worth considering?

I can understand what you're all saying, especially when I saw what was said to Tom, but the fact that so many people use it is an unfortunate advantage. CV's are weaker on the later models. For a steel axle, check out Ebay under 'breaking grand vitara' and phone all the people who are advertising a wheel nut. I took a few phone calls, but I've just got one for £80! out of a GV V6. Looking to do the granvil converion too. Hope you get it sorted in ti...
