The muddy zook kit is £145 + the callipers and disks, all of which will be new as I don't want to use or trust second hand brake parts. So its getting expensive but if the brakes work better then it will be worth it. Nothing like heading towards unmarked roadworks to test the brakes. The local tatte...

Your right Munkee, my knees are old and knackered. Ive got a new cable but im not convinced its that. Could be the bearing as its been standing unused for 20 months.

stiff clutch pedal

The clutch in my vit gets very stiff to operate when the engine is warm. Anyone got any ideas why?

Commiserations buddy. I would contact the police or citizens advice to see if the sale is legal as I would have thought it was theft especially if you were the registered keeper. I hope you get your truck back.

A water board inspector will not allow blanking off a tee'd in section of pipe as this creates a dead leg, however short it may be. You will need to cut the tee out and put couplers in. It could also be lead (most likely) age dependant though, cast iron or asbestos cement, It looks like steel but the joints are quite large and if you scratch the black surface it shows grey.
