Re: Sending stuff from the States.
How much do you think it would cost to send one of these stoves for the States? I fancy one for using when camping out of the Vit, and I know a couple of people going over there in the not too distant future. $115 at Walmart. around 25% you' ll pay import duties/ charges , they are tightening up Lee

Re: It's not big enough!
so much work and why ???? do you realise how much work is involved ... [-x [-x [-x also bigger tyres meen slower then its your gearing needing work or loosing 5th etc etc etc as its been said centre of gravity will be screw,,,and you wont be happy when it ends up on its side down a lane but ive neve...

Re: gv springs
Thought so. Longer springs won't help, a body lift will too... I recommend these: Mystery LINK None of the others will stop the rubbing on the inner trim. Worth a try before anything more drastic. It may help the back..but surely will reduce flex giving , more body lean..if that makes sence wont he...

Re: gv springs
235 70 16 slightly rub with a 35mm lift .... Where do they rub? on flex when back trye is in the rear arch..slightly on bottom front arch ( nearest the door ) ..and inner front arch trim and inner bummper trim ..which can be trimmed....going on my last LWB GV Lift .. if all that makes sence fitting...

Re: gv springs
stick with original springs and just fit spacers, i thought. Wouldn't want the harder ride, personally. got spacers was just looking for a little extra bit on the cheap ;) so it would give me a extra bit for the tyre clearance.... 235 70 16 slightly rub with a 35mm lift ....but have a few options n...

gv springs
guess work i know
what do you think
putting either XL7 or LWB springs on to a SWB GV...
is it likely to do anything ..my theory is they would have a slightly heavyer load
so may give a inch on a SWB GV

Re: Mk1 vs Mk2 lwb
they are both the same asking price ..tho the guy ( garage ) who is selling the GV seems like a right tw.. ! and i think the 1996 is a bit overpriced and its a auto but it is very tidy ..just seems old now i think prob as well the early ones are prob easyer to work on . i would have thought ' dilemm...
