I've only tried the older merc springs.

Couldn't do any harm to try them, or give me some measures and i'll compare them.
I did think that on the c180 onward, merc did make an effort to get the cars to handle, unlike the old ones.
From that, they maybe stiffer.

Yup, that'll do it.

Solenoid stuck, happens more often than not after deep water.

Hi Mate, 410's are very basic, the wire from the ignition switch connects directly to the back of the stater motor. Pull the wire off the starter motor (the small one) and see if you have power while an assistant turns the ignition to start. I'd guess that the wire is disconnected or that the igniti...

Me, luck, not a chance.

No LSD chaps, but not that worried.

Air con is an easy take out and fit to something else, I was surprised :-o
I only bought it for the sexy bull bar & side steps any how :lame:

It will be parts by the weekend bless it.

Funny enough my truck cost £400.

My rule is, never spend more than the original amount of the truck on a single mod.

So much for that idea.

They cost £100, you make it back in breakdown costs, less fuel and plasters for parts of you trying to fix the original carb.
