unfortunately, i live in guernsey. there are only 2/3 motor factors other than main dealer, none of them do recon units etc i used standard water resistant high temp grease (what i had in the cupboard) although now i look around, lots of sites mention silicone grease, i'll pop it apart again and if...

(So, "semi-retirement" ... will be 'laning the Jimny once a month, tinkering with it another Sunday a month, and then the other 2 Sundays a month are for lying in a bit, a bit of DIY around the house which has been neglected, give the dogs a long walk, have a nice Sunday roast, etc, etc......

Im always about, modding / approving posts etc but I am so busy with my Son (training for a boxing match) that my evenings and weekends are tied up. This along with the work on my classic car keeps me quiet.
